Day 1:

CAIRO

Flight from your hometown to Cairo Airport. *

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, visa formalities and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 2:

CAIRO

Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic visit to the Giza site to see the pyramids and the sphinx. The pyramid of Cheops, whose area is 13 hectares and an original height of 146 m. The second pyramid, of Pharaoh Kefren with a height of 136 meters. The third pyramid, built by Mycerinos son of Kefren with a height of 62 meters. The sphinx, a mythical statue with a lion's body and human head, is 70 meters long and 20 meters high. The sphinx and the three pyramids were considered one of the most important wonders of the ancient world. I'll go back to the hotel, then I have the rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 4:

CAIRO / ASWAN

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to depart on a local flight to Aswan (*). Arrival, assistance at the airport and transfer to the river motor ship. Full board regime on board. In the morning, you will take a felucca ride (typical Egyptian sailboats) to admire a panoramic view of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden from the sailboat. Departure by coach to visit the Aswan Dam and the unfinished Obelisk. Night on board in Aswan.

Day 5:

ASWAN / KOM OMBO / EDFU

Full board on board. Departure by road to Abu Simbel. After visiting the magnificent temples built by Ramses II, return to the boat to begin sailing along the Nile. You will reach the Temple of Kom Ombo at sunset, which will be one of the unforgettable sights. After visiting this temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, we will continue sailing towards Edfu, where we will dock for the night.

Day 6:

EDFU / ESNA / LUXOR

Full board regime on board. Visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus, considered the best preserved in Egypt and second in size. The cruise continues sailing towards Esna, where the famous lock is located that we will have to cross to reach Luxor. Night on board.

(Depending on the time of arrival to the majestic city of Luxor, two of the most spectacular temples in Egypt will be visited: the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak, formerly separated along the Avenue of the Sphinxes, three kilometers long.The Luxor temple, which is located in the center of the city of Luxor, was built by Amenophis III and Ramses II in the 18th century BC. One of the obelisks at the entrance to the temple was taken to the Place de Concorde in Paris. After the visit to Luxor, we went to the temple of Karnak, the temple of Amun Ra (the sacred precinct of Thebes) which is full of obelisks , columns and gigantic statues. Day 7:

LUXOR / HURGADA

Breakfast and disembarkation. We will cross the Nile to visit the west bank of the river and admire the Valley of the Kings where 62 kings are buried in tombs dug into the mountain. The funerary temple of Rameses III (20th Dynasty), known today as the Temple of Medinet Habu (the city of Habu), is a good example of New Kingdom architecture. He took as a model the funerary temple of Rameses II, the Rameseo, and enlarged it. It is the best preserved in the Thebes area and still maintains a lot of polychrome. After the visit we will pass by the Memnon colossi. In the early afternoon, transfer by road to Hurghada. Arrival at the hotel and stay on an all-inclusive or half-board basis (depending on the chosen category).
